Winter Moisture

Although I’m not thrilled about the colder temps we’re experiencing in NYC today, I was excited to see something I purchased this past summer in full effect.  You may remember my Beauty Road Trip post where I mentioned purchasing Sally B’s Skin Yummies’ Healing Hand Butter.  My hands get super dry during the winter, so I’ve been applying this product quite frequently throughout the fall.

I apply about a dime-size in the morning and at night and I’m good to go. The scent, sweet lemon ginger, is incredibly soothing and my hands feel baby-bottom smooth.  I’ll admit, I was worried about my hands getting dry throughout the day, but after they survived the cold, brisk air, I’d have to give this product an A+!

NYC winters can be brutal, but I don’t want my hands to be a testament to that. This will definitely be one of my go-to products during the upcoming winter months.

If you’re curious about the ingredients list, I’m sure you’ll be happy to see jojoba, lemon essential oil, ginger essential oil, and shea butter make the cut.

Since I can’t forget about my lips, I used the lip gloss sample I got from Sally B’s called Primrose.  It’s a nice peachy color, which added a natural, subtle brightness to my look.

What are you favorite moisturizing products during the winter?
